Another point on the road yesterday and another clean sheet as we drew 0-0
.
Chances galore throughout the game with Tom Croughan having a glorious chance early doors to get us in front but a lack of composure seen him sky his effort high over.
Lewis Buckley then had two or three opportunities to get us level, the first seen him go in one v one but couldn’t get it passed the keeper, the second seen his effort scuffed wide and the third forced the Chadderton keeper into a great save.
Chaddy had a few chances during the half also but all relatively comfortable for Theo.
HT 0-0
The second half was just like the first with Jesse Dowling being put in one v one and unfortunately tangled himself up, Bucko was getting himself in many great positions but once again lack of composure or the unwillingness to shoot when given the opportunity was evident.
Chadderton were having their moments on the counter-attack with their pattern of play not changing throughout with some great defending and safe hands from Theo keeping them out.
FT 0-0
You can’t miss four one v one opportunity’s in a game of football and expect to win it, but once again we created so many chances and our football was very good to watch when we got it down and on another day it’s another three points.
Still another good point on the road against an unbeaten side and our seventh away day to finish a brutal opening to the season, a great platform to take into September.
The McNamara’s Sports Bar MOM went to Josh Dobie who put in another solid performance at centre half and with back to back clean sheets also a great response to the Rammy away performance…
Say it each away game we have, but once again fantastic support with us on the road yet again and we thank you all for making what proved to be a tough trip (on the roads) over with us.
We start September with a Thursday night fixture as we welcome Charnock Richard to the Anny on Thursday night, with two Thursdays and a Friday night game coming up at the Anny l, this is were we really need to see a good crowd down there backing the lads as we look to build on the impressive start to the season.
We Go Aagin.
Up The Breck…
