Another fantastic result away from home yesterday, beating Isle Of Man 4-0.
The first half we were too direct and wasteful also, but as we have managed to in previous games we got that all important first goal with Tom Mitchell heading home a Sam Burns corner.
HT 1-0
The second half was more like us, and it was an absolute worldie from Jesse Dowling that got us the second goal, pouncing on a clearance he took a touch and unleashed a stunning hit which left the keeper with no chance.
Another Sam Burns corner was nodded home for the third with Elliot Hughes the man to nod it home and Sam got his goal to wrap the game up after seeing his first opportunity h it the post he continued to follow the ball and managed to put it away at the second attempt.
FT 4-0
As we have said a game of two halves but most importantly it was all about the win, and it’s another one ticked off and keeping the pressure on the league leaders.
Eight wins from eight games in March is a remarkable effort, and it’s a privilege to manage these lads.
The McNamara’s Sports Bar MOM went to Sam Burns, quite in the first half but when him, Elliot and Dan Lowey link up it’s a joy to watch the three of them when they are clicking, been some month for Sam with 8 goals and 5 MOM’s from opponents and that tells you the impact he had in March…
To the supporters who followed us over I thank you from the bottom of my heart, some trip that was and the best from my five visits over there, outstanding support yet again.
We host Reymca on Friday night, and we need to see the Anny packed so if you're local, and you love your football get down to the Anny, these boys need your backing as we go in search of the result that can see us top the table at 10pm.
We Go Again.
Up The Breck…
