Another important win yesterday, beating AFC Liverpool 2-0 away from home.

First half whilst having enough ball to punish it was spilled shots from the AFC keeper they gave us our best opportunities and for the best part of the half we were way off it and second best too many balls.

AFC had the best chances with a goal ruled offside and from what looked like a stonewall penalty to me was waved away and on watching the footage back it’s a cracking decision from the man in the middle.

Just on the stroke of half-time, Theo Roberts was forced into a top draw save from a free kick, the importance of that save just as good as a goal.

The second half was all Breck with us dominating the ball and having some great chances with Tom Croughan having the majority of them and in truth should have done better with them all, but Tom kept plugging away and got his reward.

Excellent work from Jesse Dowling tracking back to help Michael Fitzgerald win the ball back, and it was laid of to Connor Milliington, Millo sent a ball forward to TC who took it down perfectly in his stride, after one touch and with the keeper closing him down he slotted it under him for an excellent finish.

The space was there to punish AFC as they went looking for an equalizer, but we kept the ball brilliantly and managed to kill the game off late on.
After some keep ball Liam Morris laid it off to Lewis Buckley and he in turn produced a bit of quality beating two AFC defenders and sending home a tidy finish.

A game off two halves, and we rode are luck in that first half, but we come out composed for the second and was more than good value to take another vital three points.

The McNamara’s Sports Bar MOM went to Tom Croughan, Tom had and missed some big chances but didn’t stop running and got his reward and that all important first goal and didn’t he take it well.

Also a mention for Theo Roberts in goal, a stunning save on the stroke of half-time as good as a goal for me.

An excellent away turn out yesterday and great support for the lads at the final whistle, keep bringing it folks, we need you more than ever now.
